Just because something is modern doesn't mean it is better than something that is antique. I'm saying this because I've just cleaned our neo-classical lamp after our wall cutting. It is made of solid brass and porcelain, and it is exquisite. Nothing in this world can ever replace it, and certainly not light fixtures made of acrylic and chrome.
