It is quite unfortunate that, whenever I conduct "Writing from The Heart" workshops for public schools and government institutions, the crayons they provide are "Best Buy" crayons. They are quite substandard and difficult to lay opaque colors with. Perhaps the producers of those crayons are better off making birthday candles. It is inadvisable to provide would-be artists with poor materials. They will end up deciding not to become artists at all.
