Don't forget the dark dish with water. Surely you can do this some time today.
Fill a colored dish or bowl with water. Light a candle to invoke your spirit guides. Wait for at least three minutes. The flame should rise two to three inches vertically. Then take a fresh egg, carefully crack it open, and pour only the white (albumen) of the egg into the water.
Wait for the albumen to settle. It will form pictures of 2016, whether in a representational or abstract manner. Remember that it is your intelligent and mature interpretation that counts.
You may take mobile phone photos of the images in order to remember them later, if you like.
Afterward, snuff out the candle and pour the water and albumen into the kitchen drain, thanking your ancestors and your spirit guides.
