Benjie and I are doing more work on the house. The cement step at the entrance to the small loggia and the cement steps perpendicular to the staircase into the lounge have set. Repainting the walls is next, but I have yet to decide on colors. Definitely not white--white walls are reminiscent of government housing, art galleries, hospitals, and school clinics, and always make me feel that the residents have just moved in after paying up for their house and lot, are color-blind, or are economizing on paint.
