Bedrooms for teenagers should have their own toilets and bathrooms, good lighting and alternative lighting, a study table, a sitting or lounging area, good ventilation, an air-conditioning system and an electric fan, a TV, a balcony or porch with seating, its own entrance and exit (as in Aubrey's room, which even has its own staircase leading down to the small loggia), and, if possible, a kitchenette or small pantry. That way, when their friends hang out or have a little party, they won't have to wander through the rest of the house.
