Started rereading The Lacquer Screen and am loving all of those exquisite scenes set in the Tang Dynasty. As to all of the other Judge Dee books I already have, they are enshrined inside a special etagere along with my Bruce Lee altar and other, treasured pieces of chinoisserie.
