I have learned, over time, that saving up for something is just as enjoyable as finally acquiring what you saved up for. There are times when, after saving up, I discover that the item is no longer available, and I am initially disappointed but decide that it was not meant for me and that I had fun saving it up for it anyway.

Sometimes saving up is a reminder of how exciting life is.

Sometimes finally acquiring what you save up for is a reminder that, when an apex is reached, nothing follows but a denouement and death.
