I note that house make-over shows always feature their crews rushing and getting on one another's nerves on construction and finishing touches to meet a deadline, almost as if that was the point of it all. Who wants to live in a rushed house, though?

Since this happens ALL THE TIME, hasn't it occurred to the producers that the time frames they set are insufficient? It always looks like a case of poor planning and of time mismanagement.
