Watched Towards Zero. A family reunion is held at Gull's Point, a lovely seaside house owned by a domineering matriarch. Two murders occur, and a third is in progress. A child murderer, now grown up, is the suspected culprit.
This production was as enjoyable as the original novel, another piece that showcases Agatha Christie at her best. Plus points are fine ensemble acting, exquisite indoor and outdoor lighting, and a luscious, embroidered bedspread. And, if you want to know what timeless and classy dresses are, this is the episode to watch.
Also loved that quaint bell pull, and couldn't help but think how it developed, at successive points in time, into the buzzer, and then the intercom, and then the pager, and then the cell phone. It seems that the primary motive of communication technology has always been to summon servants.
