Watched The Mirror Crack'd from Side to Side last night. The production design was so fabulous that I was riveted to the screen all throughout. This was a hundred times better than the Elizabeth Taylor version I watched years ago, except, of course, for one thing: Elizabeth Taylor was perfect for the role.
This is one Miss Marple episode I will surely watch over and over again. That mansion was gorgeous, and so was everything in it. There is one thing that separates British productions from all other productions: the dresses are made of luscious fabric, unlike those in other productions that look like they were bought at bargain prices off the rack.
