Watched Cigars of the Pharaoh (Parts 1 and 2). Again I enjoyed this because I am a TinTin fan, but I wish that the production staff had followed the original comic books. They serve as nice storyboards anyway. The original artwork, for instance, does not use unusual and canted frames, but the animation version does. Also, in the attempt to fit the entire story in predetermined time frames, many details and nuances are omitted.

Such liberties may be easily appreciated by TinTin fans, but definitely not by Herge fans.
