Watched At Bertram's Hotel. Enjoyed it, as I enjoyed reading the novel, despite the...major changes. Reading the novel and watching this production make me think of all the old hotels I enjoyed staying in. The lobby scenes reminded me of Gloria Swanson's Grand Hotel. The story is quite entertaining, unfortunately ending with a too-kitschy "The End". Well-photographed with every shot composed with an eye for detail but, really, the staged, main crime was too complicated and spectacular to occur at all in real life.
