The sun was scorching hot outside, but I do so love the Philippine summer. Our laundry dries quickly, we can walk anywhere without ducking under awnings and eaves, I can sleep stark naked and without a blanket inside my captain's cabin bedroom, we can take our meals on any of the balconies and the roof deck, we can enjoy iced delights, and we can watch the moon with more stars than ever in the sky. All of this without having to go to the beach or anywhere else outside the city.
