The eating habits of children are unpredictable. Sometimes you have to drag them out of their rooms to lunch and dinner. Sometimes they won't even budge because they've just had a snack. Sometimes they are ravenous and make you feel as though you should have set more food on the table. Sometimes they beat you to the kitchen and cook a meal. And sometimes, when they don't like the food on the table, they decide not to eat and surprisingly don't go hungry at all.
