Still reading Old Tales Retold. Just finished reading the author's long version of the story of Chang E, who later became goddess of the moon. Her husband, the archer Yi, plays a big role in this version.

I am glad that I still have that gold-leafed, six-panel, coromandel screen depicting Chang E on the moon while her husband and his retinue arrive for their annual visit from Earth.
