A female vendor travels to our compound all the way from Fairview twice a month. She sells quilted bed covers and sofa throws, albeit machine- and not hand-sewn. I bought one from her last Christmas and another a few days ago, not only to aid her but also when she has quilts sewn in fabric that looks surprisingly classy and expensive. They are not, of course, expensive at all, but, when laid out on our sofas and day beds, they look amazingly so.
